Dear MHS Alumni Member:
It’s time to get your reservations in for our July 15, 2006 reunion. It will be at Rocky’s in Bricktown. The reunion will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the cost will be $40/person or $75/couple. All alumni members and a spouse/guest are invited to attend.
Earlier in the day on the 15th, we have scheduled open houses at the old 2-story on Broadway, the old high school (now Central Jr. High) on Broadway, and the current MHS on Eastern. All three schools will be open from 11:00 until 3:00. Enclosed you’ll find an agenda for the day. Also at 11:00 that day, we’ll be having our Alumni Association Annual Board of Directors/Membership meeting at the old 2-story. All members are encouraged to attend.
We are planning a silent auction during the reunion. If any of you have services or items that you’d like to donate, or if you’d like to make a contribution so that we can buy some items, please let us know. We’re looking for a wide variety of things such as household items, children’s items, clothing, OU & OSU, restaurant meals, hand-made craft items, doctor or vet services, etc. The money raised will go towards our scholarship fund. Remember all donations are tax deductible.
One final note: We expect a large turnout at the reunion since our membership is at an all time high. Rocky’s has a limited capacity, so if you plan to come, I urge you to get your reservations in as soon as possible. Also, if you have not renewed your membership, you’ll need to do so. You can send in a check with the enclosed form, or you can renew your membership and/or pay reunion fees by credit card via the web site (www.moorealumni.com).
